As a working mom, I love to bake and make treats for my family, but it’s hard! I have no time nor energy, but it’s always something that I told myself I would do when I have a family!
I found the perfect recipe for Banana Bread, and it’s so simple, and takes literally only a little over an hour, prep AND cook time combined.
Long story short, you won’t need much time or ingredients for this recipe!
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
2 cups Granulated sugar
1 cup margarine
6 VERY ripe bananas (the riper, the better)
4 eggs, well beaten
2 1/2 cups cake flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking soda
Preheat oven 350 degrees
Cream together the sugar and margarine
Add the bananas and eggs to that mixture
Sift Cake flour, salt, and baking soda (2-3 times)
Blend flour mixture into banana mixture, do NOT over mix
Turn batter into 2 greased 9x5x3 inch loaf pans
Bake for 55 minutes, or toothpick inserted into center comes out clean
Place on cooling rack immediately
And there you have it! It literally takes a little over an hour, and doesn’t need a bunch of fancy stuff!
